Eligibility: Students returning for the second or later year of studies as a full time student. If you are previously sponsored please do not apply.

Criteria: demonstrating adequate academic achievement (no letter grade below a C+) and financial need.  Applicants must indicate current career goals and include a brief biography including academic history and any activities that indicate an ability to work as a team member.

Application Process: A 1000 word essay or a 7-10 minute video or other multi-media presentation on one of the following topics indicating creative thinking, problem solving skills and vision:

1.      A vision of the future air quality in Prince George, looking forward to the year 2020 including a plan for achieving this goal.

2.      A vision of the future Downtown Prince George looking forward to a revitalized area in the year 2020 including a plan for achieving this goal.

Selection Process: Donor will have input.  Students to indicate financial need with a bursay application.

Special considerations: Successful applicant will agree to have name & photo published in print and on the Team Powerhouse website (unless there are extenuating circumstances re: privacy).

Students may pick-up a bursary application from the CNC Financial Aid Office.   Please drop-off completed bursary application and presentation to the CNC  Financial Aid office by April 30^th 2010.

Funds will be released in September 2010 .

Students who are cross-registered at CNC & UNBC are welcome to apply at both instituions however will only be eligible to receive one award.
